As Thanksgiving approaches, the airports fill up...Officials at LAX today are warning passengers of the expected increased traffic at the airport for a ten day period, beginning tomorrow...Of those ten, the three busiest are expected to be tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 25; and Sunday, Nov. 29 because "airlines are forecasting passenger load factors approaching 80 percent on most flights and some flights fully booked."

Airport officials say passengers departing LAX during the daily peak travel periods -- from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.; from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; or from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. -- to be in their airline's ticketing lobbies two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights.

Compared to last year, officials are expecting a 1.1 percent increase in people passing through the airport...That amounts to about 1.5 million passengers...
