The Heard of Elephants Music and Art Collective and Echo Curio are opening a new show tonight at the Echo Curio based on the theme of Blueprints. For tonight's opening party, there will be DJ sets by Mark Nieto. 9 pm show with a $5 donation and BYOB.
ART
There's an opening reception tonight for four solo exhibitions by SoCal Artists at Gallery 825 on La Cienega. Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) presents the work of Cathy Breslaw; Ching Ching Cheng; Flora Kao and James Thegerstrom tonight from 6-9 pm. The shows run through June 4.
BASEBALL
The Dodgers are in town tonight, and it's a 60s theme night at the stadium. Frankie Avalon will throw out the first pitch, The Tokens (best remembered for The Lion Sleeps Tonight") are singing the National Anthem and the Dodgers are giving away a rat pack-themed poster called “Torre’s Eleven.”
